A Great Grandmother's Fairy Tale

I cannot speak highly enough of the special and kind person my grandmother was. Bringing my young daughter from overseas, at 1 and 3 years old, to see her was an amazing experience for everyone. Unfortunately, my daughter was too young to remember the person behind the pictures she now sees around our house.

This unassuming, poignant message says so much about her great grandmother and will serve as the basis for many joyful reflections as she grows up.

This type of message would be fitting for anyone one to have prepared in case something happens to them.

MyEpilog LITE has been designed so that this voice recording or written version of this message will be made available to her, by us as her guardians, when she is old enough to understand and appreciate it. (if a video had been filmed, it could likewise be made available)

Note, currently, messages will be available for up to a year after activation of the account. MyEpilog Communications will soon be providing for messages to be scheduled decades into the future. All data will be available to be downloaded at any point.

Don’t ever let grown-ups tell you fairies aren’t real- even if you are unable to see or hear them sometimes. They are always listening and are very, very kind and beautiful.

I did not like the dark, but if I closed my eyes and said, ‘Are you there?’ I’d just wait a little while and then I’d feel a little touch & I would know my fairy was with me & I was not alone. I did sometimes call her ‘my angel’.

I also talked to her if I was lonely or sad. At first, I wondered if she (or perhaps my angel was a ‘he’) did noy speak to me, but I realised that if Mommy or Daddy heard a strange voice in my room, they would come in a probably frighten ‘him’ or ‘her’. I just knew I felt so warm as I went off to sleep, I thought I could hear a very kind gently voice that only I could hear, so I slept peacefully and safe knowing I was loved by so many people – Mommy, Daddy, Grans and Granddads, Great - Grans and my fairy angel.
